Origin Story

For years, Dr. Sarah and I shared a vision — a place for the community, for athletes, for training, for healthcare, and for people who simply needed a reset in their lives. We dreamed of building something bigger than a business — a place where strength, healing, and purpose could grow together.

A gym was always part of that dream. Not just any gym, but one built with intention — designed from years of experience under the bar, countless workouts, and a clear understanding of what people truly need to train well. But like many big callings, the dream had to wait. Building a gym takes resources, time, and focus — and as you can see, we’ve never exactly been short on things to do.

About two years ago, I began to feel a different kind of pull — a calling to start a men’s community centered on brotherhood, accountability, physical discipline, and spiritual growth. That was the seed that became Bible Bros.

At the time, all we had was a very small room in the office with a few pieces of old, worn gym equipment. It was cramped. It was rough around the edges. Honestly, I was a little embarrassed to invite anyone in to work out there. It didn’t look like the vision yet.

Then something happened. Two weeks in a row at church, the message was the same: don’t wait until everything is perfect to move forward. When God calls you to act — act. Don’t delay obedience while waiting on comfort or polish.

So we didn’t wait anymore.

A week or two later, we held our first meeting.

Next week will be our fourteenth gathering, and it has already been an incredible blessing. I have personally gained more than I ever thought possible in the short period of time I have spent with the group.  The men who have been with us from the beginning have watched the transformation — from one small room with mismatched equipment to a big empty space and now hopefully by meeting fifteen - a fully equipped, purpose-built training space. What started humble is becoming something strong.

My prayer is simple: that God keeps me humble, keeps us grounded, and continues to grow this brotherhood in a way that genuinely changes lives.

Bible Bros is a free men’s group open to anyone who wants to come together to read, pray, and train.
