Hi y’all, Coach A (Alana Thompson) here! I’m a functional fitness and strength & conditioning
coach passionate about helping people build strong, capable bodies for life.
I grew up playing multiple sports; softball, basketball, volleyball, and dance and have continued
training and competing into adulthood in softball, baseball, CrossFit, obstacle course racing, and
Jiu Jitsu. In August 2025, I had the opportunity to try out for the Women’s Pro Baseball League,
an incredible experience that reflects my love for movement and growth at every stage of life.
I bring a well-rounded coaching background in strength & conditioning, Olympic lifting,
self-defense, and sport-specific training. My approach focuses on functional movement,
long-term health, and meeting people where they are, whether you’re just getting started,
returning to fitness, or looking to push your limits.
Outside the gym, you’ll find me enjoying the outdoors: hiking, dirt biking, kayaking, and hunting
with my husband, our two kids, and our dogs. You can also catch me on the dirt coaching
softball for Woodland High School and the Mineral Area Mustangs!
